Searching for help with body related issues can be extremely frustrating- I know. There are many ways that you can receive the assistance that you need, whether physical, mental, emotional, or a combination of the three. Everyone has their moments of insecurity, but it is important to seek help when it begins to disrupt your life. Not all help is medical.

Depending on how greatly it affects your life, the solution can vary from just discussing it with a friend to getting professional help. Often, all that is needed is a boost of self-confidence and a change of attitude! Everyone is beautiful and each and every one of us needs to see that. But, if you feel as though it is more than that, it is important to seek out help from a professional who is qualified to help individuals in a way that suits them best. If you are underage, it is a good idea to start by telling your parents or a trusted adult, such as a school counselor. They should help you find the appropriate method of taking care of your issues. For many, it is helpful to have a session with a counselor or therapist. They will almost always direct you in the right direction from there!

It is absolutely imperative that you take care of it- if not, it will most likely get worse as time goes on! If possible, find a professional with whom you can openly talk about all of your symptoms, triggers, etc. Depending on the severity of the case, the professional will help you deal with your individual situation.
